Here in the UK it airs on Universal every Wednesday at 9:00pm.

So, here in the UK we are a season behind, so currently we are on Season 2. So, bear with me.

Firstly, I heard a lot of hype around this programme and have always leant towards more dark, dramatic and thrilling TV shows, rather than a reality show or something. Anyway, this show is probably the only decent thing on TV right now. It is directed amazingly well, the camera shots are so quirky and interesting. The cinematography is so well executed, as it juxtaposes the bleak and darkness of the lower class, in contrast to the cleaner and more affluent shots of the wealthy. It involves underground hackers performing cyberattacks, frustrated with the injustice of the wealthy; a Marxism notion that screams Fight Club, right?

If you think that you have to have expert knowledge on coding, hacking or computers, then you're wrong as it's not the case at all. The show does a really good job of explaining things, mostly through the drawly voiceover of the main character Elliot (see image above). The screenplay is smart, quick and thoughtful. Really, it's not just void dialogue, it is actually as pleasing on the eyes as it is on the ears. It is thrilling, with the constant on the edge plot twists and red herrings. You feel actual emotion connection with the characters, that focus mainly on misfits and socially awkward or just plain delinquents and you want to know what happens next.

Take a risk. You'll find yourself opened up to a whole new outlook and ideology of the world, and supporting the underdog.
