My Favourites

Now, usually I am not the type of person who likes to thrust their opinions onto others or likes to dictate what others choose to read, however, for those who need inspiration, here are my top favourite books.

I'm sure these aren't considered new or foreign to anyone, however, maybe you've felt a little intimidated or uninterested and not picked them up. Initially, I felt the same. However these are the ones with the well thumbed pages and the tattered spines and the ones I could quote in my sleep now. They are like doorways that lead to home. They're comforting. They're funny, sad, nostalgic, edgy, optimistic or purely just well written.

If you find yourself bored in a bookstore, or unsure what to take on holiday, or scrolling through amazon or goodreads or kindle; pause to consider these ones. They're my friends.
